What with one thing or another I didn't get quite as far with this as I had hoped today, but here is what I have so far. I'm going to try and get her head attached later, and then start adding the things to make it look a bit more 3D. Pretty pleased with it so far!

I found this picture in a National Geographic from 1977, and instantly knew she was going to be my next project. I have named her Pearl, after my great grandmother, who did live like this.

Currently Pearl is 11x14", I am toying with the idea of having other panels surrounding her of various items from that time...like a butter churn, treadle sewing machine, etc, but that is just a vague idea at this time.
Which idea do you like better?
