
looks like movement in the water and shadows.
I am going to be doing another willow on the other side, and will lift up that side of the bridge so the branches can hang behind it, also want to do something with that green grassy area in the middle, don't like the way it stands out so much against the upper background. That
part was more yellow, but I went over it twice with green Tsukinek Ink, the background is the same fabric as the dark flowers in front of the bridge, I used the back of it, and with really thinned acrylic paint and a stencil brush pounced on a few different shades of green.
The willow was made by cutting a square piece of the fabric and then tiny strips to within an 1/8" of the top which I then stitched across, I repeated that several times for the layered look. The branches will stay free hanging.
