Almost forgot to post a picture of the one that lit my muse on fire today! The background fabric has been hanging around here for awhile, waiting for something to nudge me..the Orca fits beautifully against what I *saw* from the start as a moonlit sky and ocean..this one is 18" x 20.5"
Oh Cathy, this one is amazing. I LOVE the colors and mood in this one. Aptly named.

ReplyDeleteCathy, I have been with this group (FFFC) since its beginning, and although I love all the work WE do, this one just took my breath away! I love the beauty of the ocean, and this quilt depicts it quite well. It remind me of the time I went on a cruise and I sat out on the deck just watching the moon reflect on the water and just wishing and imaging how awesome it would be to see a whale spring from the ocean. This quilt definitely brings my imagination to life. Again I say, great job.
