My finished SPRING piece...12.5" square, didn't bind it or anything yet, not sure what I am going to do with the 4 seasons when done..
using free motion stipple quilting I make sure every single loose piece is sewn down
with batting and backing and pinned together
next I cut a piece of black tulle to fit and lay it on the top very carefully smoothing it out, once all the little pieces are trapped under the tulle I place this section on the batting, which is already on the backing and pin all the parts I want to stay in place together, also around the edges to keep all loose pieces of fabric inside.
