Friday

2 pictures of my new studio! The first one is looking in from my *new* living room and shows the cutting/sewing table. Under that there is 10 totes filled with fabric. The white *wall* under the window is a bifold door that I use as my portable design wall, behind it is a smaller shelf with, what else, more fabric..lol You can't see them in this picture but right behind that plant on the cutting half of the table (an old school cafeteria table) is a 15 cubby shoe organizer which holds tons of small stuff I use and next to that is another small thin shelf with pin cushions and fqs.
The 2nd picture shows the other half of the room, in front of the middle window is a shelf which holds my quilting books and magazines and several smaller totes which hold...hmmm..fabric pieces and 2 of them hold my art supplies, as well as my son's paints. Then you notice the 2 drawer things under the other window, 2 hold files, 2 hold fabric, the top has a cushion for kitty snoozing :-) the wire shelf in front of the door (easily removed in case of emergency) again has fabrics as well as WIPS and UFOS, as you can see, the last shelf holds bins and baskets with beads, ribbons, small pieces of fabrics, trims, you name it, it's there. Next to that is my desk and computer.
I still have 4 *Avon* boxes to go through and put fabrics in here and in the kitchen is a dresser which acts like a buffet with a drawer full of patterns, a drawer full of finished things, and 3 drawers of fabrics, which also need to come into this room.
I also need to get my hand quilting frame from storage to set up here, plenty of room since I only need it set up for the smallest size.
I need to put some of my quilts and pictures on the walls still, those you see are my daughter's.
Setting this up is is part of what has been keeping me so busy lately!
