The beginner wallhanging design

Shown is the small wall hanging that I am going to be teaching my beginner class. Blocks are 12 1/2" unfinshed, since I think it is easier for begginners to work with bigger pieces :-) They will be learning (besides the obvious of cutting, and sewing) a sort of log cabin (center square block) a rail fence, flying geese, square in a square (using the sew and flip method) hsts, and a four patch...also a border with cornerstones. All very simple blocks that result in a wallhanging that doesn't look like such a "beginner" project!
What do you think?
