I have been at a bit of a standstill the past few days . Not that I don't have many ideas, and in fact several pieces are in the sketching phase and are almost ready to be worked on. Mainly I am in an emotional funk right now and can't seem to focus. Too much "baggage" that I am having a really hard time unloading.
Sometimes I think that even though we don't have it nearly as bad as some folks do, and I mean financially and healthwise that life here is the pits. At those times I just get the 'why should I bother trying" mentality and shut down.
Thankfully that doesn't usually last very long and I can only hope that this bout won't be any different in that respect and shall soon be gone.
Now that I have posted my "gloomy artist" ramblings, I will once again, attempt to go create some work..........
